Hey everyone last Chimera was a creative writing event. The rules this time were to take an illustration from an early 1800s book and write the short story explaining what was happening in the image. Here are what the teens came up with.

"I apologize for departing so suddenly, Mademoiselle, "the man said, as he took the lady's hand, placing a bright kiss on the back of it, his lips barely touching the skin.
Standing up straight again, he tipped his hat to her before leaving through the gate, his partner following him out.
The lady stood there watching until the two men were out of sight.
She knew that they would return someday. The kiss had been a silent promise of that. All that was left for her to do now was wait.
After several minutes, she turned, walking back down the hall, leaving the gate behind her. For a brief moment, she considered what it would be like if she could go with them. If she could do more than simply wait for them to return.
She quickly stopped thinking about that, knowing that her thoughts wouldn't change anything. Her usefulness was in that she would always be there; she acted as the one, solid, consistent reason for them to return one day. That in itself was her accomplishment.

The Tiger
and the dude

A long time ago, in the jungle, their was a man. He came to the jungle to help young animals in need. although he thought very highly of his ability's with animals, he wasn't good with them at all. One day he was walking in the jungle when a tiger jumped into his path. He thought he could make it go away by covering himself in frosted flakes, but to his surprise tigers not only think frosted flakes were good. They thin they're Grrrrrrrrrreat! The tiger chased him through the woods until he cornered the man on a cliff. The man remembered that he had a tranquilizer gun so he pulled it out and shot the beast. The man kept the tiger, and decided to get another one. He took them to Las Vegas where he and his brother Roy started a show. The tiger eventually gotten his revenge.

THE END!

Annabell was dead, dead and gone, had been for somet ime. The flowers that had been in his arms lay useless on the ground as he stared At George. Who was in turn staring at Annabell. Or rather her body. "What is your purpose in exuming?" he asked carefully. George didnt jumo, he didnt even look up. "You don't need to sound so allarmed. She's dead, her body is coming to no harm. i am mearly taking what is mine." George laughed. "What may i ask is so important that you would desecrate a corpse? She is dead, can you not leave her be?" Robert yelled. George stood up with a florwish and in one sift moment drew a thin dagger. Robert mimicked the movment and drew a similarly conceled stilleto.
"Move, I have places to be. My time is short. "Explain yourself." "Move aside" George insisted firmly and took a step forward. Annabell lay, her dead eyes closed. She could almost be asleep. and George had something of hers.

One day Doris and his son Betriss went out to find the little girl that would always go out of the castle walls. She found a dragon. The blood of their death surounds men. Poisen dripped off their shapped lips. A scream pierced the air, as a mother raced to their side. Her heart on fire and pounding. Her head filled with rage. She swears she will have her revenge. The killer is standing in the room with all the other people. Two men tended to the children. The killer stood in the back unseen, in the shadows he creeped away.
The mother went home, she needed to let her dear husband John know. She came to find a knife in her husbands heart. She stopped crying when she saw fat long shadow of a man in her house walk away. She began to go insane. She pulled the knife out of her husband; blood dripped from the silver blade, she fallowed the shadow.
She caught up to the man and pinned him against a brick wall. "How could you! You destroyer my heart! Killed all that i cared about!" screeched the insane mother. She held the blade against his throat. "Please have mercy!" cried the murderer. "I have a family too!" "I know and I will first kill you! Then i will find your family and kill them too. The killer of my family shall feel the same pain! I only need to know one thing before i destroy your  dreams, why?" "I love you! I was jealous of your husband and children and all the love you gave to them. I was going to kill my family too. So we could start our life together." "you Idiot! Your family will be spared but you shall die!" With that she slit his throat and he fell to the ground.
She walked back to her children and gave them a kiss on the cheek, "My dear children I will love you and miss you very much. say hi to your father." Even though she was going to kill herself her parents were still alive and she didn't want anyone else to fee her pain.

They were coming, The forks had made an unspoken truce with the flames and they were coming to find the simonster. Little did they know the monster was just Frankenstien's psychological experiment, and if it was destroyed Frankensteine's creator would be exposed and out universe would crumble. We had to get the monster out of there before the mob got here. The problem was that their were only three of the clones to rescue the monster. There would be no excuse for a sequel someday if the mob got here before we could confiscate the monster. Through one of the clones was an original, the other two were third generations, so the ladder was wobbling as the first generation priet ofen the window.
Suddenly a gash appeared across on of the clones faces, and the mob's torch went out and a huge crack appeared in the side of the castle.

Mary tore up the page and threw it onto the fire, "that was a weird idea.. I'm not sure what came over me..."

So there hung Friedrich Von Hamburg, stuck in a well.
"Who did this?" He screamed.
"Me, I did."
It was Friedrich's twin brother Heinz Von Hamburg.
"Why!" He yelled.
"Because, the trash needs to be taken out."
Then jumped out Aeneas.
"Gaahhhh!" Arneas howled. Heinz was then knocked in the well, forcing him to drown himself to avoid humiliation.
"I sure am glad I'm out of that well." Fredrich said.
"It sure is!" Aeneas said. Upon arrival at Troy, Aeneas was killed because he was Greek, so then Frederich got sad, and then he wanted to leave, but the Trojans wouldn't let him, so he was stuck there, but then he kind of liked it, plus Aeneas wasn't really Frederich's friend, so he got over it really fast, and then he lived in Troy.
