Flower Pot Painting and Planting Seeds

This was one of our Summer Reading events for 2013. The teens helped plant seeds that would grow into beautiful sweet smelling herbs and flowers that would then be planted in pots near the entrance to the library. Unfortunately we had a huge hail storm the next week and all the seedlings were destroyed :( but we still had fun. After the teens planted the seeds we went inside and painted the flowerpots with the scenes from our favorite books. (Please note the Hobbit themed one.)
