Book Tree Build
During the summer of 2012 the Foundation Director approached YAK! asking for ideas on a sculpture that would show the number of donations the Foundation had received. The teens suggested a tree made of books with real branches on which they would hang and origami figure to represent each donation. The teens also agreed to help build the structure. It has been one of the most popular talking points in the library ever since. Oh, and at this event we let two of our teens have ten minute turns each taking pictures, they were very silly at times, but most of the pictures turned out very well.
